the cloud began to rise in that direction at half past eleven oclock
AM of Said day and did commence to rain at a few minutes past 12-oclock
AM with considerable thunder accompanying the cloud the thunder and
cloud passed around to the South mostley and also drifted around to
the north also as the cloud divided. But yet there was a Shower past
over my place at present although the Shower is increasing at this
writing. The prospects are favorable for a good Season at present.
My wife Kindled the fire to Serve her noons meal by to day at about
half past 12-oclock in the afternoon of today. From all appearances
there is at this writing a heaver (heavier) rain falling South east

weather that has been today. and the changes that has been today
now as a whole this has been a very nice day considering the rain
that fell. and the heat for a couple of hours in the evening after
the rain. now as the labors are ended for the day we will go to
our bed of repose by first calling upon the lord to gard and
protect us through the present night as he has through the day
